'Ramin Karimloo' turned 1 today! :)
Thank you so much for following my blog! I know I haven’t been posting stuff for a while :( I will try to post something as soon as possible!!! Also, I am going to watch Ramin Karimloo in Broadway this summer, so I’m definitely looking towards it <3
Ramin Karimloo from “Ramin Karimloo on Broadway World”
Listen with headphones or earphones!
I was trying to create another stereo track with The Phantom of the Opera, but I found it very hard because the 25th Anniversary is a live recording, and the orchestrations aren’t completely same as the original cast one.
So, I decided to create one with Romeo et Juliette. The right side is 2001 version with Damien as Romeo and Cecilia as Juliette, and the left side is 2007 version with Damien as Romeo and Joy as Juliette.
Ramin Karimloo 25-Day Challenge
Day 1: How you first learned about Ramin
The first time I listened to The Phantom of the Opera original London cast CD was when I was in 3rd grade. Of course.. I was young back then, and the Overture scared me very much.. On the 25th anniversary of the musical, Brad Little, Anthony Downing, and Claire Lyon visited Korea for a tour. I went to watch it with my mom and my younger sister, and I just totally fell in love with it. Unlike the first time I watched in in 2010, I found myself crying at the end of the Final Lair because Brad Little’s acting was just so touching. Whenever I had free time, I would search videos in Youtube. While wondering through Youtube, I stopped at a video of The Phantom of the Opera from the POTO 25th Anniversary at Royal Albert Hall. I have never heard the name Ramin Karimloo or Hadley Fraser or Sierra Boggess, but I knew at once that Ramin was the ideal phantom I was thinking of in my head. Although there are many people out there in the world who prefer the original cast, I wanted a more power voice FULL of emotions for the phantom. Meanwhile, I just watched the Les Miserables film and fell in love with the character Enjolras. Again… after wandering and wandering through Youtube videos, I stopped at the 25th Anniversary at O2 clips. While watching ABC Cafe, I was thinking, ‘Wait… that voice seems familiar..?’ Such coincidences.. :p I searched and found out that the Enjolras in the 25th anniversary was RAMIN KARIMLOO! And this is how my eternal love for Ramin started :)
Made this 25-day challenge for Ramin fans, which I will be starting it very soon.
I just created this because I was bored…
Use headphones or earphones!!! I put together the 25th anniversary version and the original London cast version. The left side is the original cast, and the right side is the 25th anniversary version. Enjoy!
I’ve seen Ramin post in twitter several times that he misses his family…
He spends so much time outside of house or even his home country to perform.. We should all feel very thankful for Ramin traveling to different parts of the world to perform for us :)
Ramin, you’re the best father ever!
